Usage Rights, Refund Policy & Important Information

1. Digital Product & Delivery

All photos purchased through Action Shot are digital products delivered electronically.

  • •Downloads are sent to your email within 5 minutes of payment confirmation.
  • •Files are high-resolution JPEGs without watermarks, suitable for printing and personal use.
  • •You are responsible for downloading and backing up your files—download links may expire after 30 days.

2. Usage Rights

✅ What you CAN do:

  • •Print photos for personal use (frames, albums, gifts)
  • •Share on social media with credit to "Action Shot Photography by Deon Collison"
  • •Use for personal websites, blogs, or race reports

❌ What you CANNOT do:

  • •Resell, redistribute, or share download links with others
  • •Use photos for commercial purposes without written permission
  • •Remove or alter photographer credit when sharing publicly
  • •Claim photos as your own work

3. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are LIMITED and strictly evaluated.

✅ Refunds MAY be granted within 7 days if:

  • •The photo file is corrupted or cannot be opened
  • •You receive the wrong photo due to a system error
  • •You were charged incorrectly or double-charged

❌ Refunds will NOT be granted for:

  • •Change of mind after downloading
  • •Incorrect bib number search by the customer (e.g., purchased wrong athlete's photo)
  • •Subjective dissatisfaction ("I don't like how I look")
  • •Failure to download files before link expiry
  • •Accidental duplicate purchases (please check cart before checkout)

💡 Pro Tip: Double-check bib numbers and preview images carefully before purchasing. All sales are final once the download link is accessed.

4. Payment & Pricing

  • •All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • •Payments are processed securely via Peach Payments.
  • •Prices are set per event and may vary (typically R50-R100 per photo).
  • •We do not store your payment card details—all transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant.

5. Privacy & Data

  • •We collect your email address for order confirmation and download delivery.
  • •We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
  • •Photos are stored securely using Cloudflare R2 and Supabase infrastructure.
  • •Your purchase history and cart data are stored locally in your browser (not on our servers).
